The Spirit of Giving Made for Happier Holidays at Mosaic

Despite the gloom and doom of a faltering economy, Mosaic clients did not go without gifts this holiday season.  Several Mosaic Board members, calling themselves the Mosaic Elves, helped ensure that the stockings were filled.  In addition to their personal contributions, the Elves also solicited donations from fellow Board members, friends, and businesses in the community.  Special thanks to St. Andrew’s Christian Community Church, St. John’s Catholic Church in Westminster, and Hugs and Stitches for their holiday contributions. Mosaic staff members, as always, were extremely generous in their holiday giving to Mosaic clients.  In addition to providing gifts, staff members made sure that decorations abounded and that there were plenty of Christmas cookies to go around.

Mosaic is also very pleased with the response to its year-end appeal card which resulted to date in over $10,000 in contributions to Mosaic. Contributions will be especially critical in the year ahead as funding from public sources continues to be cut.  On behalf of everyone associated with Mosaic, thank you for your support and best wishes for a happy and healthy new year.
