Partners in Recovery Dundalk Joins Mosaic Community Services BALTIMORE - Effective July 1, 2008, Partners in Recovery Dundalk, a substance abuse treatment program, has been acquired by Mosaic Community Services, the largest provider of community mental health services in Maryland and an affiliate of the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Foundation.
“We are very enthusiastic about this new addition to Mosaic’s array of services.” Said Mosaic’s Executive Director, Jeff Richardson. “We see the connection between chemical dependency and mental health every day in our programs. Research has shown that a disproportionate number of people with mental illness also have chemical dependency problems. Having the Partners in Recovery Dundalk staff and the excellent services they provide, join our Mosaic Community Services family will enhance the effectiveness of our services.”
Services provided at Partners in Recovery Dundalk, located at 1101 North Point Boulevard, Baltimore, MD 21224, include substance abuse evaluations, ambulatory detoxification, intensive outpatient services including individual, group and family therapy, and a recovery outpatient/aftercare program. DWI/Drug and Alcohol Education programs will also continue to be offered.
Mosaic Community Services is a 24 year old non-profit behavioral health program that annually serves approximately 6,000 adults, youth and children with mental health/chemical dependency issues throughout the Central Maryland area. Its programs include vocational/employment training, community housing, crisis services, outpatient mental health centers, community rehabilitation, adult medical day, dual diagnosis and chemical dependency services, child and adolescent services and information and referral services. With the addition of Partners in Recovery Dundalk and another recent merger of Granite House of Carroll County, Mosaic Community Services now has annual revenues of $25 million and a total of 500 employees.
