Mosaic’s EBP SE program provides vocational assistance to adults with mental illnesses through job training, employment opportunities, pre-employment skill building, on-site job support, and other vocational services that promote clients’ economic and social independence and success in the work environments of their choice. It does so using practices proven effective via extensive scientific evidence (evidence-base) which are also attractive and empowering to clients. At present, 43% of clients participating in the program have jobs so far proves that mental illness is by no means an insurmountable obstacle to employment and is a testimony to the client’s and staff’s excellent work and the program’s quality. This percentage is much higher than many other programs. Employment is a top priority for most adults with mental illness. It benefits them and their families economically and socially, and benefits our local communities to which such individuals contribute. The EBP SE’s combination of effective cutting-edge services, talented dedicated staff, and hard-working creative clients makes it a very successful program.
