Dual Diagnosis Program
Mosaic Community Services now offers a Dual Diagnosis Program as part of its new and growing comprehensive mental health treatment. Now individuals who are receiving services through the Mosaic Outpatient Clinics or through community rehabilitation can enter this program. All it takes to be eligible is to fit the description: a client has both a substance abuse/chemical dependency disorder as well as a primary psychiatric disorder. Since Mosaic serves both children and adults, there are no age requirements for the Dual Diagnosis Program. The services to be expected for the treatment of a client in this program would include varying levels of individual and group therapy as well as medication management monitored closely by one of our psychiatrist on staff. Treatment then is done simultaneously and within an environment well suited for psychiatric disorders. Treatment is not bound by a timed schedule (26-weeks) because of the nature of the dual disorders. Referral from the community is simply accomplished by calling 410-453-9553 ext.1190 and setting up for an evaluation.
