Rehabilitation Assistant - Catonsville, MD

Current Openings:

Catonsville, Medical Day Care program, full time

Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 8a.m.- 4p.m.

Duties:

The Rehabilitation Assistant will provide quality support services to clients participating in the Medical Day Care program and is responsible for the coordination of care for clients. Also, the Rehabilitation Assistant will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with clients, their families, staff, and internal and external professionals at all times. Instruct, assist, and monitor residents in accordance with rehabilitation plans. Document and report as required in a timely and efficient manner. Will transport clients as needed.

Requirements:

Work requires a high school diploma, some college preferred. Must possess valid driver's license at time of appointment. Must have a current driving record with no more than (2) points. Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to establish therapeutic relationships with mentally ill residents. Some experience working with the disabled required. Work requires the ability to withstand the stress and mental fatigue of working with chronic mentally ill residents.
