Food Service Manager

Current Opening: 

Mosaic's food service program has an immediate opening for full time Food Services Manager.

Duties:

Under general supervision, the Food Service Manager will oversee and manage all of the daily operations, purchasing, compliance and licensing of the food services programs for Mosaic Community Services. The Food Service Manager will use strong supervisory skills including team leading, interviewing and selection, resolution of performance problems, and an emphasis on product delivery to meet departmental goals and will ensure that food service documentation and licensing is accurate, complete and current.  Also, ensure compliance with all Department of Labor and State Laws, regulations, guidelines, and directives.  And coordinate/ arrange for all required food service trainings.  Will manage food services budget and will ensure accurate portion control and inventory control. 

Requirements:

  • Must possess valid driver's license.   Must have a current driving license with less than 3 points at all times during employment.  Must possess valid automobile insurance coverage.  Work may require the use of your own vehicle. Work does require adequate transportation to manage multiple food locations throughout the Mosaic network of programs.
  • Work requires 3- 5 years of job related experience. 
  • Requires a current Food service Manager certification including current SERVSAFE certifications is highly desired, but may be offset by direct, job related experience.
  • Must be a proficient user with software programs- Word and Excel (or similar software), Outlook and internet based software systems.
  • Must possess direct knowledge of the CACFP program.
