Clinical Coordinator/Therapist - Towson, MD

Current Openings:

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing general social work and case management services to the boys group home in Towson.  The programs serves emotionally disturbed adolescent males with the goal to of enabling the residents to live in the least restrictive environment possible.  Maintains compliance with all regulatory and accrediting body guidelines.  Provides clinical supervision and consultation with the Direct Care Staff.  Coordinates treatment plan and case management services.  

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology/Counseling with associated licensure (LCSW-C, LGSW, LCPC or LGPC) and one year of related experience

Valid driver's license with 2 or less points

Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to establish therapeutic relationships with mentally ill residents and to communicate and work effectively with residents in accordance with rehabilitation plans

Work requires the ability to establish professional relationships and work effectively with representatives of all types of agencies

Must possess computer and analytical skills sufficient to handle routine administrative details, such as completing Program Reports

Work requires the ability to withstand the stress and mental fatigue of working with chronic mentally ill residents

Work requires standing and walking, walking up and down stairs to monitor residents and participate in program activities, driving program vehicle to transport residents, and the ability to assist residents with daily tasks
